Blue Jays Team:-  The Blue Jays are a professional baseball club headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Blue Jays are a Major League Baseball (MLB) team that plays in the American League East division. Since 1989, the bulk of the team’s home games have been played at Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto.

Blue Jays Team History

The name “Blue Jays” comes from the bird of the same name, and blue is also the traditional colour of Toronto’s collegiate and professional sports teams, notably the Maple Leafs (ice hockey) and the Argonauts (Canadian football). The name “Blue Jays” was chosen by 154 individuals out of over 4,000 ideas in 1976.   Furthermore, the team was initially owned by the Labatt Brewing Company, the creators of the popular drink Labatt Blue. The team’s official colors are royal blue, navy blue, red, and white, and they are colloquially known as the “Jays.” The team was created in Toronto in 1977 as an expansion franchise.
