Early Life: – Brandi Alexis Reed was born in Canton, Michigan, a Detroit suburb, and has an elder brother called Jason Reed. She was a competitive figure skater for 17 years, beginning when she was four years old.

Reed gave up competitive ice skating as a sophomore in college to focus on studies and a possible broadcasting career. Reed attended the University of Michigan on a full scholarship. She spent two years as a local news reporter before moving to Miami, Florida, to seek a career in modeling and performing. Reed earned a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami while residing in Miami.

Reed was asked to a WWE audition in 2011 while working as a model after finishing her master’s degree. In March 2011, she signed a developmental deal with WWE and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). The following month, she made her ring debut as Brandi, joining Lucky Cannon at an FCW house event.

On May 12, she began working as a ring announcer on Superstars’ weekly programs. Reed also began announcing responsibilities on NXT on July 11, going by the ring name Eden Stiles. On the July 15 and November 11 editions of SmackDown, she filled in as the ring announcer. Her sole bout came on July 16 at FCW Summer SlamaRama, when she competed in a battle royal, which Sonia won. Reed was removed from her WWE contract in December, at her request.
